Chris was a Navy SEAL. He is the founder of INVICTVS Group, a Special Operations consulting consortium. He holds a master’s degree
in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Nebraska
Medical Center, specializing in both Orthopedic Surgery/Sports Medicine
and Emergency Medicine.
Immediately following the termination
of Osama Bin Laden on May 2nd 2011, Chris emerged as the news media's
most featured special operations subject matter expert. As a result,
Chris has appeared in hundreds of interviews on television and cable
news networks and radio networks such as NPR. Chris continues to appear
often in the media, providing expertise and relevance on a variety of
topics relating to the special operations community.
Due to his many
favorable on-air appearances, Chris was heavily featured in the
Discovery Channel's specials, Secrets of SEAL Team Six (June of 2011)
and Inside Bin Laden's Lair (August 2012), the History Channel's
America's Book of Secrets: Black Op's (April 2013), and the United
Kingdom's Channel 4 documentary; Wikileaks, Secrets and Lies: The Julian
Assange Story.
Chris is an accomplished public speaker and
continues to pursue his passion for the creative arts in the form of
television and film acting, singing/song writing and performing as well
as voice acting. Today, he is the official voice for Under Armor
national TV commercials, as well as for Under Armor's new hunting TV
show, "Ridge Reaper" now airing on the Outdoor Channel.
Currently, Chris is hard at work promoting his music as well as his
Amazon #1 Bestseller; 'Undaunted' an autobiography that spent 12 weeks
at #1 and a book he hopes will help inspire others to pursue their
dreams.
During his military career, Chris served as an
operator on SEAL Team 8 before joining an Assault Cell with Naval
Special Warfare Group II as a close quarters combat and urban operations
instructor.
After leaving active duty, Chris performed duties
as a Special Operations Section Leader for a private military
contractor in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation
Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and Al’ Qaeda in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb
(AQIM). Through these initiatives, Chris helped to establish and enforce
U.S. Foreign Policy. Chris remains an active member of the military
community.
